There has been a lot of buzz and research recently about cold therapy, cold plunges, and cold showers, and for good reason.

When it comes to pain, there seems to be good evidence that using cold can help reduce inflammation, but there are also a lot of other benefits to cold plunge.

For this reason, this was worth sharing because I have been doing more cold showers and plunges recently and I have noticed some improvements in cognition and some reduced pain.

Remember, if you just injured or re-injured your lower back, or any other body part, it’s likely best to use ice anyway so this can help you in the short term.

In my opinion, this method will not “Fix” your pain but it does have a lot of whole-body benefits that can enhance your overall health.
